Darol Anger offers workshops and residencies for middle and high-school, university and graduate programs in settings that encompass public and private schools, academies, universities, community orchestras, festivals and camps. Representative residency experiences include:
- Public School Orchestra
Four-day residency with the Republic of Strings and school orchestra concert with Margot Reavey's Belmont Public Schools Orchestra, Belmont, MA. This included:- Three days of coaching & rehearsal of high and middle school string orchestras on Darol Anger original material
- Concert featuring the Republic of Strings and the orchestra in a short set, then Republic of Strings alone, then a combined finale with all musicians
- Three members of Republic of Strings provided coaching (which is ideal.)

University Residency
Five day residency at Princeton University for students as well as members of the community. This included:- Lectures
- Evening workshops and rehearsals in preparation for a concert.
- Two pieces were performed with the orchestra (1/2 set of the program), and the remainder was performance by Republic of Strings.

Summer Festival/Institute
Six-day residency with chamber music institute at Icicle Creek Music Center, Leavenworth. Included:- Instruction and workshops on improvisation
- Teaching of alt styles
- Premier of commissioned piece for solo violin and chamber orchestra – Angles
