Just added: Darol plays in Colorado with Strings For Industry, Vilar Center for the Arts, 7pm.
Legendary bluegrass, folk and jazz mandolinist David Grisman joins an allstar line-up of musicians to Get Out the Vote 2006. Strings For Industry is comprised of Darol Anger, Tony Furtado, Scott Law & Tye North. Tickets are $20 for registered voters and $35 for non-registered voters. Voter registration will be available in the lobby on the night of the show; must present valid ID.
Directions:
Take Exit 167 off I-70 at Avon. (7 miles west of Vail.) Go south through Avon’s ‘round-a-bouts’ to Beaver Creek Ski Resort. The Welcome Gate at the main entrance to Beaver Creek will instruct you on parking and provide you with a pass for your vehicle. Follow Village Road 2 miles and turn left onto Avondale Lane just before Beaver Creek Lodge. Follow Avondale Lane about 3 city blocks, the Vilar Center will be on the right and the Villa Montane parking structure on the left. Once in the Villa Montane parking structure, take the elevator from “P2” to “M”. From Beaver Creek Plaza, take the escalator located south of the ice rink down to the front entrance of the Vilar Center.
