Darol will appear with Republic Of Strings co-founder and guitar legend Scott Nygaard, and the best singer you never heard of, the great Chris Webster, in a big concert for the San Francisco Bluegrass and Old-Time Music festival, February 5 at, like, the Make-Out Room or something. 8:30 PM.

Also appearing: banjo great Bill Evans and The Old School Freight train. It will be big, big, big.

Wintergrass, the Pacific Northwest’s Primary Pickers’ Paradise.

Out at Tacoma in the hotels… you can’t miss it, even though it’s all indoors. 4 days of heavenly wall-to-wall acoustic music. Psychograss plays Saturday, Darol & Mike host a tribute to Vassar Clements on Friday night.
